Mealworm Beetles

Hi pupils,

How are your mealworm beetles growing? I hope they are still alive! :)

Here's one of the mealworms living under the same roof as Miss Neo. It'll be some time before it goes into the next stage of its life cycle. Let's wait patiently for them to grow! :)

  1. Ms Neo, I have 6 mealworms, but guess what, 5 of them die and there is only 1 left. So sad, I play with the last mealworm and it bit me! So
pain! I know another food that mealworm eat. They eat leaves too!!!

    Aliaa,
The date for the drawings? The mealworm beetles are still in the larva stage, so it'll be some time before I can take a photo of it in the pupa stage to show the class. No worries about it! :)

  8. Beatrice,
Did you give your mealworms some fruits for water?

    Alya & Yanling,
I will let the whole class know about the dates for the mealworm beetles, as it will take some time for the mealworms to develop from the larva to pupa stage. No worries about it. :)
