Dear P4^Commitment pupils,
At the end of this session, you should have:
(1) 10 things you already know,
(2) 10 things you want to know, or 10 questions you have, (2 per group member)
(3) 5 things you have learnt from your research.
Please hand in the hard copy of your KWL to Miss Neo by Friday, 27th of Feb 2009. Please work closely with your group members.

PHG
Hi pupils!

Did you enjoy your trip to HealthZone? I sure did. There were many fascinating things I learnt and saw there. And it was also interesting to see how some of your classmates would look like if they wore spectacles (photos not uploaded to protect their privacy). :)
Hope you managed to gather more information for your project. You can go to HPB for more information. Do remember that you need to cite (or state) where your information comes from! :)
Your group should be able to come up with your K-W-L by the end of this week. Please let me have a look at what you have come up with. All the best!

Let's learn more about growing seeds.
First Activity
Step 1: Try your hand at growing a plant in this game ! See if you can grow your plant successfully! It can be a little tricky.
Step 2: You can read up more from this site. about how to let your plant grow well!
Step 3: When you have finished, complete this quiz! You should get 8 or more if you have understood the topic well!
Second Activity (if you have more time)
Step 1: Read up on these topics if you have more time! They will give you a better idea of the life cycle of plants.
All About Seeds
Seed Structure
Germination
Some of the terms they use may be different. Don't be stressed about it. You just need to know the terms we have used in class, such as root, shoot, seed leaves, embryo, seed coat and etc.

Stop the clock!
How fast are you at building your multiplication sentence?
Try out this game to find out! Set it at more questions and a shorter duration for a challenge! :)
You can do it if you think you can!

Multiplication Practice
Hi my committed pupils. :)
You can practice your mental multiplications on this page. Remember to check your number of 'zeros' and estimate your answers! :) Who wants to be a millionaire?
After you have earned your first million, fly to space and shoot those meteors! See if you can hit more than 25 correctly. :)

What have we done so far?

Buddies with Primary 1s for Recess in week 1 and 2. Still remember your little buddies in school? Many of you have shown compassion in taking such great care of your new friends! Keep up the great work! Say hi to your new friends when you see them in school! :)
Our Chinatown Learning Journey
We have learnt a lot from our guide on how Chinatown was like in the past and the different parts of Chinatown.
Welcome
Hi pupils of P4^Commitment!
Welcome to our class blog!
This site will be a place of communication (for important dates or links) and perhaps a log of what we have done as a class.
You can leave comments if you have any questions. Remember to leave your names (not nicknames) so that we know who to direct the answers to! :)
